What is the Annual Fund?

The Annual Fund is Valley Village Montessori’s annual fundraising effort. Each year, parents on the fundraising committee work with the school’s leadership to set a goal. Together, we run programs and events to help meet it.

What does the Annual Fund support?

While tuition goes a long way, it isn’t enough to cover the full cost of operating the school. Each year, charitable donations to the fund help drive so much, including:

  • Major school infrastructure (e.g. this year’s garden initiative!)

  • Teacher wish lists

  • Classroom item replacements

  • Tuition assistance for students

  • Staff development opportunities

Our 2024-2025 Goal

This year, we’re looking to raise $30,000 by January 31st.

We need your help - and every dollar counts. We totally understand that not everyone is in a position to make a large donation, but our belief is that 100% participation is even more important.

  • It sure is! Valley Village Montessori School is a non-profit entity.

  • Of course not. Our goal is for 100% family participation, where each family gives what is comfortable for them.

  • You absolutely can! Just click here to donate via this site.

  • Absolutely - you can simply print and fill out the Annual Fund Donation Form and bring it, along with a check, to the school office.

  • You can! Every year, we do a charity auction, which we’ll be launching in the next few months. It’s a great opportunity to maximize your in-kind donation. If you have something else in mind, don’t be shy about reaching out to the staff.
